Zak King
Missionary to Ecuador
Zak is a missionary in Santo Domingo, Ecuador. Sent out from Grace Bible Church in Conway, AR, he serves as Dean of Students in the Pastors School, a ministry of Sovereign Grace Reformed Baptist Church. Functioning in a diaconal role, as an Admin for day-to-day tasks of the Pastors School, he aids in the spiritual development of students through life-on-life discipleship in and out of the classroom.
Zak is passionate about God’s glory and specifically, God being glorified through the local church. He is a liaison between the local church and the Pastors School. Through evangelistic opportunities and discipleship, Zak trains church members and Pastors School students to live out and embody the gospel they preach.
Though saved at a young age, it was while in high school that God began to draw Zak to cross-cultural ministry. Zak’s family was a part of a Hispanic church plant, and they were involved with international students studying in their town’s university. This produced a love for missions within Zak. Through his Residential Assistant position in college, he would befriend many international students and strategize opportunities to serve and evangelize those in his dorm.
He eventually became a member of Grace Bible church and learned what it was to be a healthy church member and live all of life to the glory of God. Zak joined the GBC’s seminary, Grace Bible Theological Seminary. In 2024, he graduated with a Master’s in Pastoral Ministry.
