Regional Leader - U.S. Ministries
REMOTE POSITION – 40 HOURS PER WEEK
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide servant leadership, encouragement, direction, and support for the workers and teams serving within a region.
- To stay current with ministries in your region through periodic on-site visits and other forms of communication.
- To help equip sending churches for care by facilitating the necessary Advocacy and PAC teams meetings for your region’s missionaries.
- To implement and support DTN’s ministry policies.
- To facilitate communication, partnership, and coordination of ministry and support with other DTN departments and regions.
- To identify, develop, and mentor leaders on the field.
- To intentionally encourage a sense of community and care among field workers.
- To be the first line of defense in DTN’s proactive member care processes, and to communicate the required deeper, reactive care when the need arises.
- To review and report on your region’s quarterly ministry reports.
- To seek out, develop, or implement solutions to field worker’s issues that need attention.
- Raise the necessary funds to cover travel, salary, and living expenses.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A deep and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- A faithful member of a like-minded local church.
- An understanding of the requirements and challenges of effective missionary work.
- Demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit by exemplifying humble, loving leadership through servanthood.
- Full agreement with DTN’s statement of belief, core convictions, and ministry DNA.
