Video and highlights of the La Danse vision will be given
by David Demian (director of Watchmen for the Nations). This evening will
be held in partnership with Alpha Canada's in national initiative and Broadway
Church evening prayer service.
Saturday, June 14th, 7 pm at (location TBA).
SPEAKERS: David Demian (Director of Watchmen for the Nations), Alain Caron (Quebecois Leader and Pastor), Odette Menard (Quebecois Leader and Pastor) and others will share the vision of La Danse, what the Lord is doing in the nation and the Greater Vancouver area's role in this historic tour.

Greater Vancouver Friends,
Recently, amazing information regarding Canadian Confederation came across
our path. Did you know that in 1867, the year of Confederation, our first
Prime Minister, Sir John A. Macdonald, spoke of the French-English partnership
that would be sealed as in "Holy Matrimony"? Two days after Confederation,
a New Brunswick paper heralded the event as "The Greatest of All Modern
Marriages."
These, and other snapshots from Confederation, show what was in the heart of the Fathers of Confederation and on our Heavenly Father’s heart - that French and English-speaking Canada would be united in a beautiful partnership that would bring forth life, fruitfulness and the destiny of God for this nation. Along the way the relationship has gone through many challenges, indeed, almost to the breaking point. But NOW, in the specific timing of God, it is the moment for French and English-speaking Canadians to walk, not just hand in hand, but heart to heart, to see God’s pre-ordained purposes for our nation finally come about.
This summer the Church in Canada will take another major step in the journey to see the nation of Canada released into her destiny, and the Greater Vancouver Area body of believers has a key role to play.
On August 7th and 8th, nearing the end of their 12 city cross-Canada tour, a team of 250 Canadian Christians will visit the Greater Vancouver Area as part of La Danse Courtship Tour, See the attached article “A Time to Dance” by David Demian for the vision and heart of this initiative.
We are inviting all of you who have a heart to see the walls of division torn down in our nation to be a part of La Danse.
WAYS YOU AND YOUR CHURCH CAN BE INVOLVED IN THE GREATER VANCOUVER AREA
1. SHARE THE VISION…
Please share the contents of this message with your church family as this event is open to the whole body of Christ in our area. Watchmen has produced a video called "THE BODY" that has an exciting segment which deals with the heart of the French/English issues. SHOW IT TO YOUR CHURCH, HOMEGROUPS, AND FRIENDS! We have a core team in Vancouver who are available to share the vision and heart of "La Danse" with your congregation or to talk with you in person. 2. PUTTING FEET TO YOUR HEART…
Our desire is to please the heart of the Father by honouring
the French-speaking delegation that is coming to our area. This is our way
of saying to the Father, "YES, we want to see Your pre-ordained purposes
for this nation released and we are rising up to do our part!" If your
heart is in agreement, there are many practical ways you can get involved
as we prepare for this wonderful event in Vancouver.
BILLETS NEEDED -Invite one or more of the team into your home! Sign up to
billet one of the French or English-speaking team members on the nights of
August 7th and 8th.
SPONSORSHIPS - Sponsor, completely or partially, a French-speaking delegate
on the tour. As a token of our love and commitment to this relationship, The
English-speaking Canadian church’s desire is to honour the French-speaking
delegates by covering the cost for their entire tour. The tour cost is $3,500
per French delegate (Sponsor information is at the bottom of this e-mail).
HOSPITALITY - Help treat our special guests during their time in Vancouver.
A core team is currently working on organizing a special dinner on the evening
of August 8th. You can sow into this financially by forwarding gifts to Watchmen
for the Nations and designating it for the GVRD La Danse Dinner.
3. PRAY…
This tour is much more than just a "nice" thing to do. It is an act of spiritual warfare against one of the largest issues of disunity in our nation. Pray with passion and fervour that all the Lord wants to release through La Danse Tour will be fulfilled, and that the Kingdom of God will be established in Canada from sea to sea at a greater level than before through this tour.
