Soon began the pain
As I experienced depths of failure
My passion for Him grew cold –
My heart felt as if dead.
All that I could see
As I tried to look about me
Was my sin swirling all around –
Would I ever again be free?
The deeper that I sank –
The more discouragement I felt,
I realized once again
Only God's grace could my heart melt.
I feel confused and lost
Not knowing where He's leading

His grace is what I'm counting on
His grace that is so costly
His grace has brought me to this point
And His grace to the end will bring me!
