One of them is that this is an area where there is a growing missions
focus in Canada and some very encouraging developments are in the works
in that regard.
Many local missions, ministries, missionary training facilities and
Christian educators are also interested in having us support and help
to facilitate them in seeing the vision of the GCWAC carried out in
partnership with them.
Another reason is the multitude of ethnic and religious diversity that
exists here.
Yet another reason is the growing media, music and the arts center that
Vancouver is becoming. It is also becoming increasingly known as one
of the 'world music' capitals in the world. In addition, many of the
local worship & arts ministries share similar vision and are excited
about networking and partnering together as the Holy Spirit leads.
We believe that God has some significant things that He wants to do
in this region through the process of developing godly biblically established
artists and musicians who find and live out their God-given roles in
the reclaiming of musicians and artists - and the media, music and the
arts - for His Kingdom.
We believe God's artists and musicians will greatly impact Canada and
the nations in the years to come. We look forward to taking our place
among the musicians and artists that God is raising up around the world
in these days in order to encourage whole-hearted worship of Him through
musical and artistic expressions.
