THE NAMES OF GOD

The names of God are incredibly awesome and powerful, and will, increasingly, become Life to us as we meditate on them and as the Holy Spirit reveals His names and character to our minds and very hearts! The names of God are not just nice names or nice statements about God, but they are His very nature and character -- they are who He IS...and He is revealing to us, in these days, this multi-faceted nature of His, and in revealing Himself to us as the Way, the Truth and the Life, is bringing us also into maturity in Him, into oneness with Him, and into the very Life of God Himself in increasing measure!

How incredible that He, the God of the Universe, of which we are smaller than a speck in comparison to the universe, would choose us for His great and eternal purposes! How humbling that He would choose to redeem us!!

My prayer is that as you meditate on these names and characteristics of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that you would come to intimately know Him as all of the above in your own lives.

May He be exalted in you!
