CORNERSTONE FESTIVAL (put on by JPUSA) – in Chicago - Cornerstone Festival is a growing community of believers who have been joining together for seventeen years in an annual refreshing of spirit and vision, in fellowshipping with one another, in engaging with ideas and the arts, and in the hands-on business of camping out on 500 acres of beautiful Illinois prairie land. WILLOW CREEK ARTS CONFERENCE

WILLOW CREEK ARTS CONFERENCE • P.O. Box 3188 • Barrington, Illinois 60011-3188 Phone: (847) 765-0070 • Fax: (847) 765-5046 - God created His artists to use their gifts to further the mission of the local church. “Build an evangelistic heart into the lives of your artists. For when you combine artistic expression with great preaching, you’re going to have fruit that lasts for eternity.” —Bill Hybels
In a new and powerful way, God is opening opportunities for His artists to penetrate today’s culture with biblical truth, through the expression of their God-given artistic gifts. Creative and relevant communication is touching closed hearts, illuminating the life-changing power of Jesus Christ and enhancing the worship of those on the path to becoming His fully devoted followers.
Artistic gifts come from God, and we believe the arts are crucial to the mission and unique ministry of your local church. New this year is a special breakout track for pastors who want to learn how to lead and work with artists more effectively. It also will cover how to integrate culturally relevant teaching and art into a total service experience. The Willow Creek Arts Conference has been created for Christ-following artists who are using or want to use their artistic gifts in and for the local church. It’s a place where worship and programming teams can recharge both spiritually and creatively. This conference will also benefit anyone who works to champion the cause of artists; pastors and leaders who are committed to developing artists and arts in and for the local church. Discover new tools for creating culturally relevant outreach and worship and explore ways to expand the arts ministry in your church and community. Then explore and sharpen your own creative gifts by choosing among "break out" sessions in special interest areas including programming, technical production, worship, drama, instrumental music, vocal music, song writing, creativity, leadership, and spiritual formation.
