Lower Mainland Network of Christians in Business |
It is a new millenium, and a new day has been dawning in Canada as it is and has been in many nations around the globe as God is increasingly stirring the hearts of vast numbers of His business people from every nation in the direction of Christ-centered, Kingdom-of-God-focused businesses!
He has been stirring the hearts of His business people to lay their foundations - personally, in their families, businesses and in every area of their lives - on biblical foundations and on THE FOUNDATION of Christ instead of on traditional ways of doing things or on ways that have been learned which God's plumbline has revealed as not based on Truth and Life. God is bringing increasing restoration in and through HIS businesses as His business people are also realizing the value of GODLY RELATIONSHIPS.
The Holy Spirit has been stirring the hearts of His business people with a growing, deep desire to bless their staff, customers and business partners and to reach out into the marketplace with the godly character, love and Presence of Jesus.
There is truly a God-inspired and God-empowered paradigm shift taking place in the world and in the world of Christian-run businesses in these days! What an exciting time to be moving forward and to be called into these directions!
God is giving enlarged vision of ways in which we can help bring healing to the nations, more effectively influence society than we have in the past, and receive the wealth that God has stored up for His people in the last days as prophesied many times throughout Scripture for the purposes of seeing HIS Kingdom advancing!
We are learning to appreciate each others gifts and personalities as He is bringing increasing unity in His Body and seeking to work TOGETHER as the Body of Christ in these days in order to cooperate with Jesus in seeing HIS purposes accomplished on the earth in these days!
Believers internationally have been praying and interceding for renewal and revival, and indeed there is a growing sense among Christian on many levels that we are in the transition to a third reformation - of how the Church lives out her faith and theology.
The re-thinking of traditional business practice, church practice and life is taking place on every level and regarding every aspect of the way the Christian life has been lived out and communicated in the past decades and even centuries. Christian leaders and lay people all over are prayerfully searching the Scriptures and sensing God leading them to see with new eyes the way the Church operated and functioned in the New Testament, and are seeing how relevant this is to how the Life of Christ needs to be expressed through His Body in this crucial time in history!.
As a result, there is a growing sense of urgency in growing numbers of disciples to work together in unity in diversity as godly, biblical and Christ-centered disciples of Jesus who long to see the Harvest come in and the nations not only impacted on a small scale, but to actually see nations DISCIPLED as we are commanded to do in the Great Commission.
Although Christianity has been in Canada for a long time, we see clearly how the world has influenced the Church much more than the Church has influenced the world, and while the traditional ways of the Church reaching out (especially in western methods) have been effective in various times in various ways in reaching out and ministering to various segments of society, the nation is full of people who are missed, and yet who are hungry for the Truth.
Growing numbers of believers feel that one way to reach many of these missed and disenfranchised segments of society is to live out God-honoring, loving lives through business in order to see the development of Christ-centered, biblically-established and whole-hearted worshippers/disciples of Jesus - who are discipling others!
Many followers of Jesus in Canada and around the world are filled with eager expectation at what God is leading us into as Christians in business rise up and take their place alongside other networks and gatherings of true disciples of Jesus in order to see the heart of Jesus satisfied and His purposes accomplished as we obediently follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and are empowered by Him to follow in His steps!
It is our desire as the Lower Mainland Network of Christians in Business to help facilitate what the Holy Spirit is doing in the Lower Mainland and beyond (as He leads) through assisting in the resourcing and networking of His business people that He is raising up to see this nation discipled - and nations beyond!
It seems that there are multitudes of believers who are sensing Gods stirring in these directions, if they are not already running businesses, and who are sensing they are about to be released into these directions. Thankfully God has prepared some who have paved the way and who are able to pass on their valuable counsel to those that are in need of fathering or mothering/mentoring etc. in these developing roles.
Therefore, we WELCOME YOU to connect with us and to avail yourselves of the resources and services that we can provide, and to begin to build relationships with us and growing numbers across the country who share similar heart and vision.
