Come journey with us in prayer and partner with us in giving as we send off a team of women to China on November 9th.
We will meet together on the evening of November 8th to bless Gwen McVicker, Ellie Hagey, and Sue Todd as they leave for Asia at 1AM on the 9th. Idelette McVicker leaves on the 6th and will meet up with the team in Taiwan.
November 10-14 Taiwan
· Meeting with the Breakfast Group to encourage and share.
· Visit to the Christian Salvation Centre where Georgie Hsieh will introduce the team to those who rescue baby girls and handicapped children.
· Meet with Watering Hole Ministry which reaches out to young people on the streets of Taipei.
· Meeting with house church leaders.
· Meet with Path graduates.
November14 18 Hong Kong
· The team hopes to meet with Jackie Pullinger who runs a transition home. This is a very intense program. God has blessed it immensely and changed lives through it.
· On November 16 Gwen will speak at a Women s Conference, continuing to mobilize prayer for suffering women of the world.
· Meet with Path graduates
November 18 22 Xiamen, China
· A Path workshop will be held, facilitated by Idelette. Former Path graduates will also be able to join.
· Continue to mobilize prayer for suffering women.
· Chinese Prayer Journals will be taken into China.
November 22 25 Beijing, China
· Meet up with Path graduates
· Pray with, encourage and live with, a hidden Christian community some hours away from Beijing
· Continue to mobilize prayer for the suffering women. Chinese women suffer intense persecution.

We begin this year with anticipation as God continues to unfold His plans.
To think that God wants to include us in His plans is still
a mystery but one that brings excitement and encouragement. Are you ready
to join the Lord of the Harvest in His plans?
We, the Global Action Team, look back at 2002 with much
thanksgiving. God gave us so many opportunities for ministry and granted us
Charitable Status. He provided workers and help for every task we undertook.
His grace and love were extravagant.
China 2002
Many of you journeyed in prayer with Gwen, Sue, Ellie, Idelette, Georgie and
Dorothea as they traveled to China. It was an awesome time for the travelers
and for the prayers. The conference in Hong Kong, the one-on-one encounters
in Xiamen, Taiwan and Beijing were all blessed with the powerful presence
of the Holy Spirit. He truly did go before us, and open doors in unexpected
ways. Please continue to pray for an open door to return to this vast country.
There are many suffering women who are grateful that we were addressing the
issues of abuse and violence and making a way for the church to give Godly
leadership.
Kingdom Partners
Dorothea Oakley and Doug Rae were married here on December
28th and Doug will join Dorothea in sharing the ministry work that flows out
of Linwood House.
Bulgaria 2003

April 15-18
Once again we are preparing to go to Bulgaria at the invitation
of the Bulgarian Church. The church is preparing for the Canadian Women's
Team with great excitement. We will visit again some of the strategic areas
of ministry from last year: the Bethany Women's Center, the Coffee Shop Rendevous
and the Women's Prison to mention a few. This year we will have "Discover
God's Heart for Suffering Women" in Bulgarian to share with the women.
Would you like to be part of our team? You may participate by sending, going

Missions Fest 2003
Vancouver
"What Ever It Takes"
Global Action Canada Ministries will once again have a booth at Missions Fest.
Our booth number is L 8&9. Please come and visit us.
On Saturday February 1st, the first ever Women's Rally
will be held. Gwen is currently working with a team to co-ordinate this event.
It promises to be an awesome time of encouragement to women. Judy Mbugua will
be our speaker. This session begins at 11AM.
On Friday evening Gwen will lead a Concert of Prayer. Please pray that God
will renew His passion for the lost around the world.
Missions Fest Toronto, February 28-March 2
Gwen and Sue Todd will host a booth at this event to share the vision of Global
Action Canada Ministries
Prayer Journal
God continues to speak powerfully through this prayer journal. On January
19th Gwen spoke at Friendship Baptist Church where they, as a Church body,
are embracing the suffering women by praying through the journal during the
40 days from January 19th.
The translation is complete in Bulgarian and Spanish and the French is in
process.
God's language is universal, but practically He gives us tools in the language
we know best and can understand. Pray that as He leads, more translations
will be underway and that the funding for this will be available for printing.
Thank you all, for your prayers for the Charitable Status that God has answered. Continue to pray for energy, wisdom and discernment as we boldly step out into the Harvest field. Thank you to all of you who have come apart up here at Linwood House and shared your hearts and your journey with us. What a blessing we have received from you!
"Cast your bread upon the waters, for after many days
you will find it again" (Eccl 11:1).
God wants us to seize opportunities, to take risks for His Kingdom, and to
dance with abandon through this journey of life. Pray as each of us answer
His call, as you answer His call upon your life, and come join the Harvest
for the Kingdom.
