True Fasting
1 "Shout it aloud, do not hold back.
Raise your voice like a trumpet. Declare to my
people their rebellion and to the house of Jacob
their sins.
2 For day after day they seek me out; they seem eager to know my ways, as if they were a nation that does what is right and has not forsaken the commands of its God. They ask me for just decisions and seem eager for God to come near them.
3 'Why have we fasted,' they say, 'and you have not seen it? Why have we humbled ourselves, and you have not noticed?'
"Yet on the day of your fasting, you do as you please and exploit all your workers.
4 Your fasting ends in quarreling and strife, and in striking each other with wicked fists. You cannot fast as you do today and expect your voice to be heard on high.
5 Is this the kind of fast I have chosen, only a day for a man to humble himself? Is it only for bowing one's head like a reed and for lying on sackcloth and ashes? Is that what you call a fast, a day acceptable to the LORD ?
6 "Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?
7 Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter- when you see the naked, to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?
8 Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness [a] will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.
9 Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I. "If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk, 10 and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.
11 The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.
12 Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.
13 "If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath and from doing as you please on my holy day, if you call the Sabbath a delight and the LORD's holy day honorable, and if you honor it by not going your own way and not doing as you please or speaking idle words, 14 then you will find your joy in the LORD , and I will cause you to ride on the heights of the land and to feast on the inheritance of your father Jacob."

....and I want to say to you, the Lord is about to move on British Columbia. If you're from Vancouver, get ready! There is a shaking. There is an incredible shaking coming into the Vancouver area, so get ready for a move. There is a penetration that is coming in there. There is something that is going to bring in that place national attention to that area. It will be a window of opportunity for you. That's a key, key time to look for.
As a matter of fact, there is also going to be a shake up in the financial system of this nation that's coming. And in the shake up of the financial system you're going to see certain people at a very high level being exposed. It's going to be the entry way in for God's plan in government, civil government, to begin to get in place and sweep acrosss this nation. Get ready, big changes are coming, but you as the church have to respond. You have to move right.

Just when I looked at you, I thought - faithful, faithful. The Lord shows me that you are going to see a revival my brother. And that you are hungry, you're really hungry for more, you're really hungry for God, and that you've reached a point in your life of shift and transition.
The Lord says : not only you, but those you are associated with, are going to see a move of the Holy Spirit. You're going to see God come to your city. You're going to see God come. And you're going to see God come to Russian speaking people, and the Lord is going to set you in a high place and the Lord is going to give you favour. This is the acceptable year of the Lord. Not everyone will understand. Some will not understand even the changes you're going to make.
But the Lord says: I will never leave you and I will never forsake you. I'm going to be with you in this new wave of the Holy Spirit. And the Lord says: ride that wave. And your generations will rise up and call you blessed says the Lord, and the youth will rise up and call you blessed. This shift is of me, says the Lord.

Let me give you some inside information. This man pastors a church in Vancouver and remember last night there was a word about the revival that is coming to Vancouver.
Cindy Jacobs:
Let's agree : Father, for Vancouver, you want to visit, oh there has been so much prophecy about revival coming to Vancouver, so much prophecy! Lord we agree! For a revival to come crashing on the shores of British Columbia.
Oh, the Lord shows me it's the whole province, the whole province, the whole province! And that the Lord is going to cause you to plant, plant, plant, plant! You're going to plant churches, you're going to have the anointing of increase and increase and increase.
Enlarge the place of your tent says the Lord! I'm going to give you new property. I'm going to give you what you need says the Lord. I'm going to give you millions of dollars to build. I'm going to cause you to build a big barn and the Lord says you're going to heal a schismed city that is hurt and broken hearted, for I'm going to cause you to come with the father heart of God in the broken heart of a move of God, says the Lord.
Let your fire come, let your fire come, the fire of revival, fire, the Holy Ghost fire! Send the fire, oh God, oh, oh. You're going to be changed from this day. You have taken a big drink!

For many years, we have cried out to the Lord to release Canada's destiny for training, not just for our nation, but also for the nations of the world. We believe the leadership covenant of Kelowna created a spiritual covering in our nation that will release, among other things, apostolic and prophetic training centres for teaching, impartation and 24/7 intercessory prayer and worship.
The training centre we envision for Vancouver will also focus on releasing the arts (music, drama, dance, visual arts) to prophesy to the culture of our nation. For e.g. we see unbelievers listening to prophetically birthed music that will impart freedom to their spirits. We also see a media centre that will use TV, video and the Internet to teach and impart truth to believers, as well as to innovatively communicate the gospel to unbelievers..."

At Our Praise & Worship Seminar - March 1999
I see the Lord raising up "Strategic Training Centers" in this area. What I sense by the spirit of the Lord, is that the Lord is saying that even for this region, there is a new mentality and a new understanding that God is bringing to the Church in this region. What I see in the Spirit is that for so long, people have had an understanding and a mentality that we come to receive and get blessed. But, the Lord is saying that that mentality is changing and I am raising up "Strategic Training Centers" even in this region. And that mentality is going to be changed from coming to get blessed, to coming to get trained and activated, and to begin to move and flow and give out and pour out of that which God is training and activating each person in.
There is a whole new paradigm shift. The whole Church in this region is going through a "Spiritual Paradigm Shift." A new way of thinking, a new perspective that the Lord is bringing, so no longer will we come to Church in order to get blessed but we come to get trained and activated and move and flow and minister in that that God has deposited within us.
I tell you, this is the word I hear the Spirit of the Lord releasing over this region. It is a paradigm shift the Lord is bringing. I hear the Lord say that some have left denominational, old wineskin places because youve been hungry for what God is doing in this hour. And God says I am raising up these "Training Centers" to be places of demonstration of what I will do. And the Lord says the frustration is leaving and, I see people that have become spiritually frustrated and it is a Godly frustration. Their frustration is because they have not been able to move and operate in what I am doing, and the Church has not been mobilized in this area. And the Lord says, I am raising up these "Training Centers" in order to mobilize My Church. And to cause them to come up to a new level, so that they will begin to go forth and they will begin to do and begin to fulfill the destiny that I have called this area to.
And I just see from this city, and I do not know how big this entire region of British Columbia is. But I see even from this region, which the Lord says, that the whole Province is going to be affected in a major way, and not only here but also I see it will extend over into Alberta. I see this region as a hub of spiritual activity. And even there are going to be those who shall be sent over into the United States as missionaries of what I am doing and of establishing the Kingdom and the Apostolic and Prophetic says the Spirit of the Lord.
I just see where there is a dearth in the land. Even in the north-western United States, where there has been a dearth in the land as far as Apostolic and Prophetic ministries. And I see that the Lord is going to rise up Apostolic and Prophetic Ministries and many will even be launched over into different regions. God says this is going to be a place where people will blastoff, its a launching pad. This area is going to be a launching pad; it is going to be a launching pad. So God will bring many people in. And God says there is a holy frustration that I am bringing this day into the hearts of My people and God says no longer, no longer will they sit in a place of idleness. But the Lord says they will begin to come to life and they are going to begin to fulfill and do what I have called them to do.

port for hospital ships. These were sailing all over the world, but primarily
to Asia, and South and Central America. This region of Southwestern Canada
will soon become one of the great missionary bases in North America, particularly
for reaching China and the strategic nations of Asia. Many great healing ministries
will rise up there, and some will move there to make it their base. Another
bridge for missionaries to cross over into these Pacific rim nations will
be Western Canadian businesses, which will rise up and establish strong business
links to these nations. The future of Southwestern Canada is strongly linked
to Asia."
