TRENDS - Trends in the world today - ie. with growing numbers
of illiterate peoples around the globe, the growing number of children, the
growing number of satellite dishes around the world in places where people often
don't even have phones, a world in which many women - ie. many Muslim women,
for example, do not have opportunity to hear the Gospel unless it's coming to
them through the arts and through their TV's and videos/radios, etc, and in
a time when there are HUGE percentages of YOUTH in every nation (who are fixated
on music and the arts/media), and in a society where this generation will not
be reached if we as the Church neglect this huge realm of life and opportunity,
we as the Church need to take seriously our role in seeing God use the arts
to see His Kingdom advanced in these days!
Worship was what Satan stole from God and I believe it's
the last thing God seems to be increasingly restoring in these days...and more
so in the future before He returns, and so I believe He is wanting to employ
this strategic aspect of life that He created in order to help bring in the
Harvest.
Also along with this we could include a note the many traditions and cultures that are passed down orally and how we need to take this seriously in order to reach the lost. Also, how can we take advantage of the fact that so much of the world is incorporating and enjoying more and more western music/arts and so interconnected?
