(Editor's Note) The day before I received the email about
this word above, I had been meditating on several of the Scriptures below
about how God brings us THROUGH our dark times. The reality of this encouraging
truth in the midst of dark times has been such a comfort to me many times!
May these and similar passages bring encouragement to your hearts as you wait
for the light to dawn in various areas of your lives, as well, while recognizing
that He will bring you THROUGH them and not leave you in the dark indefinitely
- though it may seem like an eternity! (Scriptures below from NIV.)

Isaiah 43: 1 "
But now, this is what the LORD
says- he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: "Fear
not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. 2
When you pass THROUGH the waters, I will be with
you; and when you pass THROUGH the rivers, they
will not sweep over you. When you walk THROUGH
the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. 3 For
I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; .....16 This
is what the LORD says- he who made a way THROUGH
the sea, a path THROUGH the mighty waters,
"
Psalm 23: 4 "Even though I walk THROUGH
the valley of the shadow of death, I will
fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies
"
Job 36: 15 "But those who suffer he delivers IN
their suffering; he speaks to them IN their affliction.
16 "He is wooing you from the jaws of distress
to a spacious place free from restriction, to
the comfort of your table laden with choice food."
Psalm 77:19 "Your path led THROUGH
the sea, your way THROUGH the mighty waters,
though your footprints were not seen."

the Valley of Baca (Weeping), they make

Psalm 78:52 "But he brought his people out like a flock; he led them like sheep THROUGH the desert."
Isaiah 45:2 "I will go before you and will level the
mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut THROUGH
bars of iron."
Hosea 2:14 "Therefore I am now going to allure her;
I will lead her into the desert and speak tenderly to her. 15 There I will
give her back her vineyards, and will make the Valley
of Achor (Trouble) a DOOR OF HOPE.
There she will sing as in the days of her youth,
as in the day she came up out of Egypt. 16 "In that day," declares
the LORD, "you will call me 'my husband'; you will no longer call me
'my master. '

those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned."
Isaiah 42:16 "I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them."
Isaiah 50:10 "Who among you fears the LORD and obeys the word of his servant? Let him who walks in the dark, who has no light, trust in the name of the LORD and rely on his God."

2 Corinthians 1:9 " Indeed, in our hearts we felt the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. 10He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, 11as you help us by your prayers "
May your heart be encouraged in the midst of your darkness,
