It is a great day to be involved in the arts!!...a time filled with many opportunities to impact our city, nation and beyond with the GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM through the God-given gifts that He has entrusted to His artists and musicians in a day when the arts and media are one of the most significant, if not the most signficant influencers of society!
Over especially the past 7-10 years, growing numbers of artists, churches, ministries and missions worldwide are and have been seeing the need to become actively involved in the arts in order to grow in intimacy with Jesus, see musicians and artists discipled and discipling others, to see music and the arts reclaimed as a vital part of His cosmic purposes on the earth today, and to see the Kingdom of God expanded as we seek to see the desires of Jesus' heart coming to fulfillment by the power of His Spirit!
He is in the process of raising up whole-hearted, total-life worshippers from every segment of society, and we are greatly blessed to be given the joy and responsibility of stewarding the arts that He has entrusted to us as we walk humbly before Him and with each other as we seek to love Him with all our hearts, soul, mind and strength, as we seek to love our neighbour as ourselves and allow Him to use His creative gifts to draw people into intimacy with Him!
It is to these ends that the Great Commission Worship & Arts Center desires to provide free resources to assist artists, worship leaders, churches, music & arts ministries and educators and missions, etc. in moving increasingly in these directions.
Therefore, we would like to provide free weekly or bi-weekly articles - one article per email - directly related to the general topic of Christianity & the Arts, including such things as:

If you are interested in increasing unity and community being built/developed among your local/regional Christian musicians and artists, ministries supporting the arts, arts patrons and the Church, etc., this is one resource which you may find helpful to use in your situation by adapting some aspects of it for your region. You could change the networking information to include the music/arts ministries and Christian musicians/artists in your locale/region; you could change the upcoming events to ones in your region; you could change the opportunities that are available to the ones that are available in your region, etc.
